Back in January 2020, our entire family travelled to Southeast Asia. We drove over 100 miles from the Mersing Jetty, to the heart of Singapore’s financial district in a Nissan Elgrand. And here, our dream of SUGOI CAMPERS started.
Inspired by this journey, we came home to the UK and bought a Nissan Elgrand for ourselves. With a long-standing love of camping and caravanning, we planned to convert it into our very own adventure on wheels.
With over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, it was just a matter of time until we finally took the plunge and started converting vans as a business.
Influenced by our family’s Asian heritage, and Singapore’s melting-pot culture, we chose the name SUGOI (Japanese for ‘awestruck’) to represent the quality of product we offer.
