We’re Multi-Award Winning!
Wow. What a week!
As many of you may know, we were shortlisted for two amazing awards, the South Coast Business Award’s “Small Business of the Year Award 2023”, and the Hampshire Business Awards’ “Made in Hampshire Award 2023”. We were shocked (and delighted) to have made it so far in both categories, but we never could have guessed what happened next…
We won BOTH awards!
South Coast Business Awards
On Tuesday, we were announced in the Daily Echo as the Small Business of the Year 2023 – you can check out the full article here. A huge award, covering the entire south coast, we were up against Bellissima Beauty Limited, Fire Hospitality, Obvs Skincare, Still & Bloom and Talent Locker.
We were over the moon to read the article saying SUGOI had been selected as the winner! And the certificate now has pride of place at HQ.
Hampshire Business Awards
Okay, this one was a biggie. The first year of these awards, there was a black tie gala in Farnborough that all finalists were invited to. So, we took all of the team who wanted to join us along for the night. We also invited Naomi Smith from our friends at South Hampshire College Group who nominated us for this award for our work on TECH:TRUCK.
We had an amazing time meeting the other finalists, as well as the charities, partners and sponsors who also attended the evening. Hosted by Alex Jones, each award had its own sponsor who came up to announce the winners and present their trophy. For us, that was Councillor Rob Humby from Hampshire County Council. The Made in Hampshire Award had a lot of incredible finalists, from In-Space Missions to Whitchurch Silk Mill. So, we can’t thank the judges enough for selecting us as their winner!
The judges said:
“SUGOI CAMPERS demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, efficiency, innovation and quality in their processes in a highly-competitive field. Their journey from inception to notable campervan conversions is truly commendable. The future is bright for SUGOI CAMPERS”.
What an amazing way to see out 2023. We can’t thank you all enough for your nominations, support and kind words during the last few weeks. We couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s a little a few of the words of encouragement we’ve received from customers since the recent announcements:
