Filling up the tank
Your campervan will have a full tank of fuel when you collect it, and we simply ask you to return it with a full tank at the end of your hire period. If the tank isn’t full when the vehicle is returned, replacement fuel will be charged at a rate of £2.00 per litre.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If you need to cancel your booking outside 30 days of the hire commencement date, your deposit will be retained by us, but we will refund any other payments. If you need to cancel your booking within 30 days of the hire commencement date, there is no refund.
Do I have to use an electric hook up?
If you want to use any mains-powered (230 volt) devices such as hairdryers etc. you will need an electric hook up (which should be available on most campsites). The campervan leisure pack (12 volt) runs the lights, fridge and cooker ignition. Some of our campervans are also equipped with solar panels which will offer at least 24 hours off-grid power to the leisure pack. An electric hook up cable will be supplied with the vehicle.
Is there a limit on the mileage?
There is no mileage limit on any of our campervans within the UK.
What paperwork is needed and when?
We will contact you 21 days before the hire date to obtain a copy of your driving licence and proof of address for all drivers. You will need to request a license check from the DVLA to confirm you have no convictions.
Are the campervans fully insured?
Fully comprehensive motor insurance is included in the hire price for those aged between 25 and 75. All drivers must have held a full UK or EU license for a minimum of 24 months. Drivers can have no more than one fault/accident claim within a 5-year period. Any potential hirer who falls outside of these criteria should contact us before booking.
There is a refundable security deposit of £750 to cover the insurance excess in the event of any accident, loss or damage to the vehicle or contents. Provided you bring the campervan back on time, clean, in the same condition as it left and with a full tank of fuel, the deposit will be refunded within 5 days. Details will be covered fully during the booking process.
Is there a limit on the number of drivers?
One additional driver can be included on the vehicle insurance for £60 (per hire).
Do the campervans have Sat Nav?
Most of our vehicles have Apple Car Play/Android installed, so you can display content from your mobile phone.
Are the campervans easy to drive?
Yes, all campervans have power-steering and the elevated driving position offers better all- round visibility. Our campervans are also fitted with either reversing cameras or sensors, and can be driven on the same license category as a car.
Can I smoke in the van?
No. We operate a strict no smoking policy in all our campervans.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we do. Contact us for more information.
Is the pop-top easy to use?
Yes, they are super easy to use, and our team will show you how to use the pop-top and everything else when you collect the campervan.
Are our possessions insured in the campervan?
Loss or damage to personal possessions is not covered by the insurance on the campervan.
Can we bring a dog?
We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs, but do ask that they are kept off all beds and soft furnishings. We ask for an additional £25 per hire to cover the additional cleaning.
Do you deliver the campervans to customers?
We do not currently offer this service, however our Head Office is conveniently located next to Fareham train station which links to all major UK rail networks.
Is there a minimum hire period?
Our minimum hire period is 3 nights. However, please contact us during low season as we may be able to offer a shorter hire period.
How do I book one of your campervans?
We have a simple to use online booking system. Simply head over to our availability page, select your campervan and chosen collection and return dates on the calendar, click on book now, choose any add-ons you require, apply any discount code (if applicable), complete driver/s details and choose payment option to complete your campervan booking.
What happens if the campervan breaks down?
In the unlikely event that one of our campervans breaks down, you will be covered by full UK (24 hour) breakdown cover, which is included in the cost of your hire. Our campervans are regularly maintained and serviced. You will receive a document with contact details should you need to contain someone when on your trip.
