Akira’s had a makeover!
We know that buying a campervan isn’t for everyone, so at SUGOI we’re really pleased to offer a rental option for our customers. It’s also a fantastic way to trail some of the features that we offer in our campervans before you buy your own with us.
We really wanted to give our rental van Akira a makeover before the 2024 season kicked off. So, whilst you might remember it looking like this…

So beyond a new colour scheme, we did a variety of other upgrades.
Due to popular demand from our conversion customers, we’ve installed a brand-new rock and roll bed. with a wider design for more space, as well as a heating system which you can switch on and off as you please! The bed is also on railings, so you can create more space in the front or back of the bed as needed. We’ve had really good reception on these new features so far, so wanted to give you a chance for our rental customers to enjoy them too! And we’ve also gone for a new, two-toned design to the upholstery.
These kitchen units are also in our new design, which provides more storage space, as well as a more comfortable finish around the rock and roll bed when it’s reclined. We opted for a Denim finish to the units to give a pop of colour, finished off with our popular White Sparkle worktop. The kitchen itself is fitted with a fridge (including freezer drawer), hideaway sink and two-burner gas hob.
Beyond that, Akira is keeping some of its best-loved features, including an elevating roof and Fiamma awning for more space, as well as a passenger swivel seat for flexibility during your adventures.
